In this article:
What login methods are available?
The following login options are available:
-
Password
-
Social Login (Google, Facebook, X (Twitter), or LinkedIn)
-
Single Sign-On (SSO)
Note:
If your organization has set up single sign-on (SSO), 2FA will not be required when logging in.
Is social login required?
Social login is voluntary. After you log into your account, you can set up social login within your account settings. After you connect your social accounts, you will have the option to log into your account with social login, but you can always choose to log in using your password instead.
Is single sign-on (SSO) required?
If your organization has implemented single sign-on (SSO), you will be required to login in via single sign-on. Visit our article on single sign-on to learn more.
Logging in
In your browser, navigate to signin.brandwatch.com.
At the login screen you will first be required to enter the email address associated with your user account.
Note:
If you are both a Brandwatch Consumer Research and Social Media Management user, use your Consumer Research account credentials to log in.
Next, the system will determine which login methods apply to your account, based on whether or not you have enrolled in social login or if your organization requires single sign-on.
Logging in with your password
If you have not set up social login, or if your organization does not require single sign-on, you will be required to enter your password to log in.
- At the login page, enter your email address and click Continue.
- Enter your password and click Sign In. (If you do not remember your password, click Forgot password? to reset it.)
Logging in with social login
If you have already enrolled in social login through any available network (Google, Facebook, X (Twitter), or LinkedIn) in your Consumer Research settings, you will have the option to log into Consumer Research using that social network, instead of using your account password. At any time, you can still choose to log in with your password instead.
- At the login page, enter your email address and click Continue.
- For any social network you have connected for social login, click Sign In with….
- An authentication pop-up window from the selected network will appear. Enter your login credentials for the network, or simply confirm if you already logged into that network in your browser.
- After successfully logging in, you will be directed to your account.
Logging in with single sign-on
If your organization has set up single sign-on (SSO), you will be redirected to log in with your organization’s third-party authentication provider after initially entering your email address in Brandwatch’s login.
Please visit our Single Sign-On article for more information.
Note:
If you are an organization administrator and your organization requires single sign-on, all users will be required to sign up and authenticate using this method and they will not have the option to log in using your password or social login. However, exceptions can be made on an individual user basis. For example, if external stakeholders do not utilize the same identity provider as the rest of your organization, you can choose to disable single sign-on for select users. If you are an organization administrator, please contact your organization's Customer Success Manager (CSM) for help accommodating such users in your organization.
