When you connect a TikTok Business ad account, Advertise can help you monitor your TikTok campaigns, campaign groups, and ads. Once your account is connected, you can also view ads on TikTok videos in Publish. In this article, learn the process to connect your ad account in Social Media Management.

Social Media Management supports the connection of TikTok Business ad accounts only.
Connecting a TikTok ad account
Any Social Media Management user with a user role of Admin or Team Leader can follow the steps below to connect a TikTok ad account. Keep in mind that you will also need to have access to the ad account in TikTok.
- In the left-hand navigation sidebar in Social Media Management, click on the Settings cog icon > Channel admin.
- Under Channel Settings in the Settings menu, select Ad Accounts, then click the Connect/Reconnect button.
- In the first step of the following prompts, click the Connect button under TikTok.
- In the following pop-up window, log into your TikTok account to authenticate it with Brandwatch. Follow the prompts to grant Brandwatch access to your organization’s accounts and make sure all permissions are selected.
- Once connection is confirmed, select the TikTok ad account(s) you would like to connect to Brandwatch.
- In the last step, assign an appropriate Advertise role to your users. Visit our User Roles article to learn more about the permissions for Advertise-specific user roles.
When finished, you will see a notification that your ad account has been successfully connected to Social Media Management.
From there, you can begin viewing your TikTok ad account metrics in Advertise.
