As of October 1, 2025, Measure will support Facebook Followers metrics in Measure. Followers metrics will replace the Fans/Page likes metrics used on old Facebook Pages. This change will benefit clients using the new Page experience and provide a consistent definition of Followers across all networks in Measure.

What metrics will be added?
The following channel-level metrics will be available in Measure:
-
Followers: The total number of people who have followed or subscribed to your channel(s).
- Networks now supported in Measure: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), TikTok, YouTube.
- Data will be available for up to 2 years (full backfill will complete within one month).
-
Net new followers: This metric counts the daily net fluctuations of your followers.
- Networks now supported in Measure: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), TikTok and YouTube.
- Instagram requires at least 100 followers for this metric to be available.
- Data will be available for up to 2 years (full backfill will complete within one month).
-
Followers increase: The number of people who have followed your Page in the period. This metric indicates the number of newly-joined followers. It does not track unlikes (refer to "Followers decrease"). This metric is unique for a day. If a user follows, then unfollows and follows again, it will still be counted as a single new follower for that day.
- Networks now supported in Measure: Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
- Data available for up to 2 years (full backfill will complete within one month).
-
Followers decrease: The number of people who have unfollowed your Page in the period.
- Networks now supported in Measure: Facebook, Instagram and YouTube.
- Data available for up to 2 years (full backfill will complete within one month).
These metrics will be replaced in the existing dashboards from the previous metrics Fans, Fans increase, and Fans decrease, now including Facebook Followers instead of Facebook Page likes.
These metrics will be available in the Channel Metrics section of Measure in the Key metrics, Network comparison, Channel comparison, and Time series widgets.
