In Engage, you can choose to enable email notifications for individual feeds, allowing you and your team to take advantage of the feed’s filters to receive targeted email notifications for the exact content you would like to monitor. Receive email notifications for specific channel or content type feeds, or use more advanced feed filters such as by keyword or label. At any time, you can enable or disable notifications for a feed with one click so you can seamlessly adjust your content monitoring.

Enabling email notifications for a feed
In any Engage feed, click More feed options (three dots icon) in the top-right corner of the feed, and toggle on Notify me by email to start receiving email notifications for the feed.
After you have enabled notifications, you will be notified by email when new content arrives in the feed. Notifications will then be sent in 10-minute intervals.
Note:
Feed-based notifications must be toggled on by each individual user who would like to receive notifications for the feed.
Best practices for feed-based notifications
- Use the feed’s filters to narrow down the criteria for your notifications so your email inbox won’t be flooded. For example, if you have an unread feed for a lot of channels with a lot of activity, it might not be useful to enable email notifications for that feed.
- If you don’t want to receive email notifications at specific times, you can easily disable the notifications at any time by toggling off the notifications in the feed options.
