Bynder Integration

We are happy to announce the integration with the digital asset management tool Bynder. You can now search and upload content in Bynder straight from the Publish interface, both when you create posts in the editor, or when you are uploading your stock assets to the Content Pool. This integration is ideal if your organization already relies on Bynder as the one source for storing creative assets. By leveraging this integration, you can ensure that your social media assets in Publish are up-to-date, pre-approved, and on-brand. You can learn more about the Bynder integration in this Academy video, this Bynder article or on our website.

Please note that the activation of this integration requires your Bynder portal domain. To initiate the integration process, please contact your Customer Success representative (CSM) or our support team.

Multi-step Approval Flows

The multi-step approval flows feature allows you to create an unlimited number of steps and multiple approvers per step, with real-time progress visible in the post editor. Notifications are sent as each step is completed, and admins can skip steps to speed up approval. Approvals are timestamped for transparency, and the system supports filtering by assigned approvers. In addition you can revert posts to draft status, streamline your approval workflow and much more. This feature is particularly useful for complex teams, that need a more compex and rigid approach to content approval.

Label Groups

Label groups give you the flexibility to organize your labels into groups based on topics of your choice. For example, you can create groups for different thematic areas, campaigns, objectives, or regions.
In this update, we have included a feature that allows you to enable mandatory selection of one or more labels from a designated label group. Label groups feature is designed to help more complex teams stay organised with their labels, ensuring that every team member can easily find and apply the correct labels consistently.

Learn more about the feature in this feature in our Help Center article or, check our new Academy course outlining on how to best implement labels across your organisation.

Measure

Ad Meta Platform Filter

You can now filter your paid activities per Meta platform in the content performance widget, thereby improving paid performance analysis for each platform. Use this filter for more detailed reporting and analysis in Measure, and optimize your ad spend with ease.

Meta Page Insights Deprecations

Due to Meta’s deprecation of a number of Page Insights metrics for Facebook, Measure can no longer update certain metrics with new data. The deprecated metrics will still be available in some widgets, but can only be used for historical purposes. On a positive note, some metrics deprecated from the Meta Page Insights API were salvaged by leveraging metrics that are still available. Other networks will not be affected by this deprecation.

For the full list of deprecated metrics, please refer to this Help-Center article.

Benchmark

Estimated Metrics for Facebook

We've introduced four new metrics for Facebook posts: Reach, Impressions, Engagement Rate (Reach), and Engagement Rate (Impressions). By clicking on the Iris icon within the content card, you will see a dialog with an overview of the metrics. These will allow you to compare your competitors' reach and engagement on Facebook against your own, enriching your competitor analysis with a broader spectrum of metrics.

Salesforce: Automate Case Creation & Message Updates

Automate Case Creation

You can now automate Salesforce case creation from direct messages based on predefined rules in Labels & Automations. These can be based on certain keywords contained in a message, a specific social media channel, or other available options in Engage automation rules. This feature helps you ensure that cases that require customer support are promptly sent to Salesforce and addressed efficiently in the Salesforce Service Cloud, without the need for any manual action from within Brandwatch.

Message updates

We have added another update to the integration: once a case has been created, whenever a user will send a new new message on that social thread, the users will receive updates in Salesforce. Thanks to this feature, Salesforce admins can set up notifications every time a new message is received, enabling their team to address inquiries faster.

Team Lead Exporting

Team Lead users can now create exports of Engage conversations, previously a feature only available for Admins. By expanding export creation capability to the Team Lead user role, this update offers improved governance and security.

YouTube Sentiment for Comments Disablement

To stay compliant with YouTube’s terms and conditions, we are sadly forced to disable the sentiment detection for YouTube comments in Engage. This change is valid from 18th of April, and from this day forward, you will no longer be able to see the sentiment of YouTube comments in Engage.
