New Instagram Metrics

You can now track Reposts and Reels Skip Rate for Instagram Reels.

Reposts measure how often your content is shared to another account’s profile, which a strong indicator of content resonance and advocacy.

  • At channel level Reposts shows you the total number of times your content was reposted in the chosen timeframe. This helps you understand how shareable your overall Instagram presence is over time, making it easier to track audience advocacy.

  • At content level Reposts shows you the number of times a specific post was reposted. This highlights which specific posts have motivated people to share your content with their own followers, helping you identify high-impact formats, messages, and themes to replicate.

Reels Skip Rate measures the percentage of viewers who skip your Reel within the first 3 seconds, providing insight into how effectively your content captures attention from the start.

  • This content level metric helps you identify which Reels are hooking audiences effectively and which may need stronger openings. By understanding early drop-off, you can optimize your Reel content to improve retention and increase watch time

24 Months of Historical Data

This update extends data access to include up to two years of historical social and online conversation data, enabling deeper long-term analysis within the Listen module.

With access to two years of historical data, teams can identify long-term trends, seasonality patterns, and shifts in brand perception with greater confidence. This supports more strategic reporting, improves year-over-year comparisons, and strengthens insights for planning, forecasting, and stakeholder presentations.
