Installing the Brandwatch App in Hubspot

In HubSpot, you can install our Brandwatch app to enable reply functionality from Brandwatch Engage, syncing your customer care experience and facilitating your team’s reply processes. In this article, learn how to add the Brandwatch app to HubSpot and use the reply within HubSpot using Brandwatch.

Adding the Brandwatch app to HubSpot

To get started, you will install the Brandwatch app in HubSpot using the provided link in our Integrations marketplace:

  1. Navigate to Manage settings (gear icon) in the lower-right corner of Social Media Management > Organization admin.

  2. Select Integrations marketplace from the left-hand navigation sidebar.

  3. Select HubSpot Brandwatch app. You will be redirected to a screen to sign into your HubSpot account to install the Brandwatch app. Complete the authentication steps to proceed.

Please note that this step will authorize the Brandwatch app with the following access:

  • Your HubSpot tickets

  • Your HubSpot contacts (read and write permissions)

Adding Brandwatch to your HubSpot ticket view

Use the following steps to install the Brandwatch app in HubSpot to enable Brandwatch Engage reply functionality within your HubSpot account.

Note: Please don't forget that any users who will have access to the Brandwatch app will also need to have a Brandwatch user account so they can log in through the Brandwatch app to see and interact with social conversations.   1. Go to your HubSpot homepage.

  2. Click CRM > Tickets in the left-hand navigation sidebar.

  3. Open any ticket.

  4. Click the Settings icon in the top-right of your ticket.

  5. Click Add cards in the right-hand panel.

  6. Select Brandwatch Card (Brandwatch app) from the list.

  7. Once added, we recommend dragging the Brandwatch Card to the top of your cards list. Click Save and exit to complete the process.

Using Brandwatch reply functionality within HubSpot

Now, when viewing a ticket in HubSpot, you’ll see the Brandwatch card in your right-hand panel. Click Open conversation within the card.

Your conversations will open within the Brandwatch viewer, which you can use to monitor or reply to the conversation.
