In Publish, you can post YouTube videos and Shorts to your connected YouTube channels. When publishing a video or Short, you can choose to make your content public, private, or unlisted, and optionally add your video to a playlist in a connected YouTube channel.
Creating a YouTube video or Short
In Publish, click Create Post in the top-left corner. Click YouTube, select your YouTube channel, then click Create YouTube Post.
In the post editor, enter a title and description for your video and click Add Media Files to upload your video.
Note: For YouTube, one video upload at a time is supported. Hover over the media information tooltip to see our recommended specifications for YouTube videos or shorts. YouTube determines whether a video is a Short. Any video that’s in 9:16 format and under 3 minutes long is automatically classified as a Short.
Use the Privacy dropdown to set the privacy for your video to Public, Private, or Unlisted.
Optionally, use the Playlist dropdown to add the video to a playlist from your connected YouTube channel.
Optionally, use the YouTube Video Tags box to enter video tags. Video tags can be useful if the content of your video is commonly misspelled.
Optionally, schedule your post, add labels, and/or add approvers.
You will see a preview of your video in the Preview panel of the post editor.
If you are creating a Short, you will see a preview of the Short accordingly. Please note that YouTube experiments or updates may affect the final appearance of your video.When ready, click Schedule, Send for Approval, or Publish.
Viewing YouTube content in the Publish calendar
When your YouTube video/Short post is scheduled or published, you can view it on the Publish calendar by clicking the YouTube icon on the scheduled/published date of the post.
