Viewing the Audit Log

The audit log keeps track of user activity within the Social Media Management platform. Administrators can view the actions of all users in their organization, such as a user's platform activity or login data. Non-admin users will see the actions they have taken themselves within the platform, such as actions in each of Social Media Management's modules. The audit log allows you to filter by users, teams, channels, or events, within your teams or organization.

Note:

For instructions on how to view a channel's audit history, visit our article on Channel Admin settings.

Accessing the audit log

To view your organization's audit log, click the Manage settings (gear icon) in the lower-left corner of Social Media Management, then select Organization admin.Screenshot 2023-10-12 at 4.22.22 PM.png

From the Settings menu, select Audit Log in the left-hand sidebar.Screenshot 2023-10-12 at 4.22.03 PM.png

Filtering the audit log

The filtering options in the audit log allow you to narrow down which users, teams, or channels you would like to view. You can select additional entities in your filter as well. For example, a specific user's actions within a team, channel, or campaign.

In addition, all post actions performed in Publish, such as creating a draft or scheduled post, are available in the Audit Log:

Viewing event details

You can view each event's details by clicking directly on the activity, or on the context menu (three dots) to the right of the activity. The Event details pop-up screen will give you a breakdown of the activity. It includes important information such as the exact date and time, team, Organization ID, etc. This information can be highly useful in the event that you need to communicate possible issues to the Social Media Management Support team.
