Setting up Listen feeds in Engage
To get started viewing your Listen feeds in Engage, please follow the steps below:
- In Engage, from the top right, click Add Feed.
- Select the tab, Listen feed.
- From the Saved Search dropdown, select the Listen search you would like to include in your feed. You can only choose one Saved Search for each feed.
- Click Save Feed.
Your Listen feed will now appear in your list of feeds along with the Listen logo and name of your Saved Search at the top of the feed. By clicking on any Listen mention in Engage, you can see an overview of the mention metadata, such as the author, publishing date/time, the text, and media.
Warning:
Due to an issue which the Social Media Management R&D team is aware of, Listen feeds will not be available in Engage to any Social Media Management user with an existing Brandwatch Consumer Research profile (under the same email address). We apologize for the inconvenience and hope to have the issue resolved as soon as possible.
Interacting with X (Twitter) mentions in Engage
By clicking on any X (Twitter) mentions from your Engage feed, you can see an overview of the mention metadata, such as the author, publishing date/time, the text, and media.
Similar to other X (Twitter) conversations in Engage, you can interact with your mentions in the following ways:
- Click the timestamp (from the top right) to view mentions natively in a new tab.
- Like, reply, repost (retweet), or quote post (quote tweet).
- Invite to a private conversation.
When you interact with X (Twitter) mentions you can choose from any of your currently connected X (Twitter) Channels. Using the Select Channels dropdown, search and select which Channel you’d like to act with before confirming.
If you send a reply or a quote post, any subsequent replies from the author will appear along with your other conversations in any Engage feeds which include your chosen Channel’s conversations.
Note:
It's not possible to assign or apply labels to mentions from Listen feeds in Engage.
